How do I sponsor a QFM program?

The first step is to contact Mark Starmer and let him know that this is what you’re interested in doing.

Once dates are agreed, sponsoring a QFM program is a fairly straightforward process that involves the sourcing of a suitable venue, plus the recruitment of up to a maximum of 12 participants.

What sort of venue is required?

The venue needs to be in an easily accessible location capable of holding up to 14 people with sleeping and eating facilities in close proximity. As examples: for the upcoming Hawaii seminar we are taking over a private house and participants will stay in nearby guesthouses. For the Reno seminar we are working out of the airport hotel that can accommodate everyone.

What room set up is needed?

The room requirement is for a relaxed and casual setting if possible. The QFM courses are very informal. The Becoming a Transformational Facilitator programme uses a classroom style.

What equipment is needed?

Basically, none! We can bring everything that is required. If a hotel venue is used, then having a flip chart stand is useful but even this can be brought along by us.

What are the responsibilities of the sponsor?

Having found a suitable venue, the sponsor then becomes the liaison between the hotel and the School for administrative purposes.

The sponsor is also responsible for arranging for the participants for the event, although it is also advertised on the QFM website.

Do I have to pay for anything?

All payments are handled by the School. A sponsor should not be out of pocket or have to pay for anything other than their own food and accommodation if they attend the event.

What are the benefits of QFM sponsorship?

Sponsoring an event means that the QFM course comes to you! Many people are not able to travel to other countries greatly value having a local event.

The sponsor is invited to attend the program free of charge.

Additionally, the sponsor may receive up to $500 for a fully attended event.

How do people pay for a course?

Participants are required to pay for the event in advance and are able to do so with a credit card.

How quickly can a program be arranged?

An event can be scheduled up to 18 months in advance. Short term availability depends upon previous commitments.

Where can a QFM program be run?

A QFM course can be run anywhere in the world where it is requested.

Can QFM be delivered in other languages besides English?

If simultaneous translation can be arranged, certainly.
